Douglas E. Collins, DDS

Douglas E. Collins, DDS Oral Surgeon in State College, PA Dr. Collins earned his undergraduate degree from the Pennsylvania State University where he also was a member of the 1965 NCAA Champion Gymnastic Team. He then attended Temple University Dental School and graduated from Temple University Hospital Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery program.

He has been board certified in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery since 1980 and has practiced in State College, PA since 1973. He enjoys all facets of oral and maxillofacial surgery and anesthesia. His main interests are the surgical placement of implants, atraumatic removal of all teeth including wisdom teeth, the repair of facial injuries and all other basic oral surgery procedures.

He is also an active athlete and athletic instructor holding a U.S. Professional Tennis Association Pro I ranking, a 4th degree master black belt in Tae Kwon Do and plays local softball.

He is married to Jodi and has three children – Christian (age 26), Melanie (age 19) and Kurtis (age 17).
